‘Not sure where’ to Hamburg – 53 miles.
The night was uneventful. I didn’t feel any need to lock the door or lock the bike up, bearing in mind it would need a master criminal to find my location.
This morning I got myself dressed in my new golden thread cycle top and silky cycle shorts. I’m sure you agree how fine I look….

As I ride past I am sure people will gasp with admiration (or something similar).
Here is a link to the Danny Kaye, Emperors New Clothes song on Amazon Music. You should be able to listen without any subscription.
Danny Kaye isn’t really the authentic Hans Christian Andersen but he was the American version of it I saw when I was a child. He was pretty good.
The route was windy again. People seemed to say ‘Moin’ as I passed, I’m not sure whether they liked my outfit!

I passed a bit of industry as you do coming into a big city. ‘Airbus’ plane building is big around here.

I don’t suppose I fooled you have I? I haven’t been riding ‘in the altogether’!
I got into Hamburg shortly after 1pm. It makes Bremen look a bit small. However, there is obviously lots to see here.
I got into the shared apartment where I am staying. It is in a good central position. I showered (I wore the Emperors Clothes in the shower) and put my washing in the machine.
I went out for a look around.

I thought I was going to order a hamburger for my evening meal…but…

I have done plenty of cycling and plenty of walking today. I will be ready for a good rest. I am staying put here for another night. There is plenty more to see.
