I’m sure everyone guessed right in the end. I made too many Disney film references to make it difficult.
We are, of course, at Disneyland Paris!
In truth this was the only location we knew about at the start of the trip.
The Y….or more correctly, the Why….is because Jan’s son and family are here at the same time. Our grandson is having his 4th birthday today (Saturday) so we booked a day pass into Disney to enjoy the day with him.
For obvious reasons we are not posting photos of the grandchildren!
We wanted a big bang finish and this place fitted the bill. Here is a selection of photos of our day.
We did loads of rides including Pinocchio, Snow White and It’s a Small World. We saw the lunchtime parade with Mickey and Donald, Peter Pan and Lion King. The stories are magical and Disney really put on a great show. It is also great to see it through the eyes of our grandchildren. Henry thought he was going into Space on the Star Wars ride and under the sea in Nautilus.
The finale was spectacular. Photos don’t properly show it.
We returned to the van after 11pm having had a memorable day.
Just for the sake of completeness the previous destination was the town of Meaux (pronounced Mo). The eeny, meeny, miney….was a big clue as was the Brie cheese as the Brie de Meaux is a favourite of mine.
We are heading back home tomorrow with one more stop in France before the Tunnel.
